About us
VEROSEA Yachting Academy was established by Daniela Florina Dragomir, who wanted to offer those interested in a YACHTING STEWARD/ESS career an INITIAL AND a PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOOL in this industry.
Verosea Yachting Academy founder has a rich experience (14 years) in the YACHTING field; during this time, she worked as a STEWARDESS, SECOND STEWARDESS and CHIEF STEWARDESS (for 8 years) on yachts ranging from 30 m to 70 m.
The biggest issue Daniela Dragomir experienced in her own career was the lack of a specialized school in ROMANIA, which was why she had to attend courses in other countries, such as France or Italy. That’s why Daniela decided to offer those interested in a yachting steward/ess career a chance to attend a training course in their own country.
Verosea Yachting Academy offers fantastic opportunities for training, which is absolutely necessary in an industry where services must meet the highest quality standards.
We have opened the first office in Bucharest, but in the near future we prepare to expend to other cities as well.

3.How to prepare for an interview?
Things are moving very fast in the yachting industry, often with managers, commanders or recruiters looking for crew members, expecting you to have no hesitation regarding you departure. Because departures could happen in a few days time or even the next day, in the event of an interview, be prepared to be asked to board immediately. Should it take you too long to think about it, you may miss boarding. As with any interview, first impressions are extremely important. A neat appearance, a professional manner of presenting yourself and a positive attitude are key elements in ensuring a position on board a yacht. Our recommendation is for your outfit to be office, make-up as simple as possible, a neat manicure and to avoid wearing sunglasses. Make sure you are on time and that you have switched your cellphone to Silent. Listen to the interviewer and show interest in the position he / she is presenting by asking questions about, your duties, the crew on board, the itinerary, etc. Be honest about your abilities and positive about your experience.
